Summer has arrived.\u00a0 Let the celebration commence!\u00a0 The harshness of winter’s chill is forgotten and replaced by billowy curtains dancing in the fragrant sun-warmed breeze blowing through wide-open windows\u00a0\u00a0 Chlorine-sunscreen tinted air reminds us ’tis the season of barbecuing, sunbathing, water sports, and puppy love.\u00a0 Children’s laughter tickles our eardrums.\u00a0 The succulent fragrance of freshly cut grass and the roar of the neighbor’s lawnmower rouses us early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Leisure is the word of the season, where work is replaced with play.\u00a0 Blowing bubbles, bicycle rides, hopscotch, hammock-lounging, random games of frisbee, and sleeping under the stars are the norm.\u00a0 Academic lessons are traded for life lessons in the world’s classroom.\u00a0 Reading transitions from a requirement to pleasure.\u00a0 Life happens at a slower, more respectable pace.\u00a0 We allow ourselves to indulge and savor the moment.\u00a0 Summer is the magical land where dreams become reality, and we speak expressly in the language of Love and possibility.<\/p>\n

I declare this to be the summer of “Yes”.\u00a0 “Yes,” to change, “Yes,” to dreams, “Yes,” to new experiences, “Yes,” to opportunity, “Yes,” to turning the page and writing a new chapter, “Yes,” to God’s\/J’s purpose, and “Yes,” to God’s\/J’s every blessing.\u00a0\u00a0 I will respond versus react, believe instead of dismiss, step up rather than shrink back, trust versus doubt, and allow Love to dissolve the illusion of fear.\u00a0 I choose Grace, Peace, Love, and Fun.\u00a0 How about You?<\/p>\n
